Lots of great info on classic style bodybuilding and a great section on the history of the sport. It also spends a lot of time on posing and competition which wasn't of particular interest to me but would be perfect for those considering competing. The book finishes with a section on nutrition which I thought may have been a bit outdated. Overall this was very complete and informative. Arnold was no joke, twice a day, six day a week heavy workouts and (shocker) 30 minutes a day cardio sessions. The book sets out a beginner, intermediate and advanced workout plans all of which are too much work for me but I learned a lot.

Very comprehensive, not too technical but great for an overview of all aspects of bodybuilding. Arnold provides some motivation as well. Really great pictures of classic bodybuilders. Read a few pages a day and tried to apply tips to improve my workouts.

Haven’t read it cover to cover, but I intend to treat this book as reference material. Found this book to be very inspiring in terms of getting more out of my gym routine.

This book talks about everything you need to know about bodybuilding, from what exercises are optimal to steroids and building a workout routine. I think it is a very useful book and it has helped me a lot already.

Learned how to pose and what kind of training encourages mass and volume. I know can pose fabulously while lifting. 5/7. Flawless.
