That was weird.

This was not a beautiful love story like I always heard it was. It was a three-day relationship between a 13-year-old child and a 17-year-old guy that ended in 6 deaths.
Also, I know Julliet was supposed to be married but the fact that she was 13 it was weirding me out some of the things she was saying.

I’ve read this play a lot in my lifetime, but not in 12 years. I read it to prep for this year’s NaNoWriMo, and even though it’s not my favorite Shakespeare play by any means, it also makes me feel very nostalgic and that was nice. I’m also remembering how much I like Shakespeare - I need to start picking up more plays!

Literally all the senseless death. And I don't remember this play being so long and drawn out.
