This has been a fantastic into to this world! Excellent progression fantasy in an ACTUAL sci-fi setting. Love the tie-in to The Clockwork Chimera. A fun little easter egg.

If you can ignore the time travel to a medieval time trope this tale is actually a decent one. Charlie must find a way in an era when he does not dare show his magical abilities. While Charlie has decided to do what is just and right while trying to figure out to get back to right time, there are others around him who have different ideas. Charlie and his friends must fight once again in a bid to save at least some of their lives.
