Je tiens à remercier les éditions Gallery Books pour le livre.
Attention qu'il y a plusieurs content warnings que je ne listerai pas.
Je connaissais un peu l'actrice qu'est Megan Fox; mais je vous avoue que cela s'arrête là pour moi.
Et je dois dire que pour le livre, je ne m'attendais à pas grand chose, et je fus "agréablement" surprise. Les guillemets, c'est surtout parce que certaines choses sont assez dures à lire. Et je préviens également qu'il y a quelques vulgarités.
Outre ça, j'ai beaucoup apprécié la lecture, certains passages, certains mots ont (malheureusement) résonné en moi.
Une vraiment très intéressante lecture !

I knew a little about the actress Megan Fox; but I admit that it stops there for me.
And I must say that for the book, I didn't expect much, and I was "pleasantly" surprised. The quotes are mostly because some things are quite hard to read. And I also warn that there are some vulgarities.
Besides that, I really enjoyed reading, certain passages, certain words (unfortunately) resonated with me.

there were a handful of these that were really quite good, but the vast majority of the poems were tired, self important, and vacuous. this would’ve gone triple platinum on tumblr in its hay day. she’s too old to be romanticizing this kind of abuse and toxicity man.
i liked getting a bit of a deeper look into her relationships though!! i would love to hear her write more of her story in maybe a memoir, but she should leave the poetry alone in my opinion.
