One of my least favorites of The Witcher series, particularly due to the lack of
Yennefer, although she showed up at the end.
Definitely felt like a filled book to me.

Oh my god, the closing chapter was comical. Not that war and battle are funny, or loss is funny. But the moment of Geralt leaving out his self-made identifier and then receiving a knighthood from Queen Meve LOL. So fitting.
Also, Regis is great. I enjoy him as both plot device and comrade. Milva shit-talking the archery skills of enemies is fun.
