I listened to the majority of this on audio. Even though I am usually no fan of short stories, I liked the stories more than the novellas. I hardly ever saw the solutions coming, but was always a bit disappointed when the solution was some far-fetched overseas machination, like in several stories of "The Last Bow".

From the first story in Volume I to the last story in Volume II, I have throughly enjoyed all 1,400 pages of Sherlock Holmes. It is no wonder that people still write letters to Sherlock regarding their personal affairs or that people still visit baker street. Sherlock seems as real a character to me as any celebrity. These two Volumes will forever be on my favorite books list and I will continue to read them through out my life. They are truly as classic and should be valued as such.
OMG. I am done reading Sherlock Holmes. Now for the fan fiction! The sweet, sweet, sexy fan fiction.
This took me two years to complete. I had to keep picking it up and putting it down because the stories are all very similar.
