Where do I start with this?! I enjoyed the story and appreciate the concept. There were some scenes and characters I loved. For example the Date night scene that the MMC tried to give the FMC. Also the FMC mother and the MMC bonding and forgiveness chapters but trust me there are more. Unfortunately this fell a little flat for me. I don’t think personally I can get over what the MMC did to her branding and also the manipulation. In my head I believe the FMC’s end game was with a character in Exodus. So for me as the book was based around the MMC healing and moving forward I just wasn’t connecting with the MMC and couldn’t really care for him.

I’m devastated I couldn’t relate to this series like everyone else did but to me the Ravenhood Trilogy is overhyped. But shout out the audiobook narrators as it was a fantastic listen.

CECELIA YOU BAD BITCHHHHH! You outsmarted and beat the master at his own game! This whole series was incredible and I was not expecting that ending. I think this was my favorite of the series, dual POV with Tobias and Cecelia, that’s how it should have been for all of the books in my opinion. I am confused on why the epilogue with Sean was the same in both exodus and the finish line though? I loved these books so much I had to buy the physical copies of them. 💕

This book was not needed AT ALL. I get there were some unanswered questions after Exodus, but this book did not need to be this long. I had a lot of issues with it:
  • Miscommunication: this was so frustrating and boring to read about. Cecelia and Tobias just kept going round in circles having the same argument over and over 😴
  • Cecelia: she is still incredibly immature.
  • Tobias: his personality literally changed just to make this “plot” work. I would have liked to see a story where he comes back to protect Cecelia against a threat and we get another enemies to lovers situation. His constant confessions got boring and just seemed so out of character.
  • The plot: it was boring, unbelievable, incredibly cheesy…
  • The spice was okay, but it should have been better considering the plot was lacking.
  • Logic and timelines: I went back and tried to track Dom and Tobias’ ages and it kept varying as to whether he was 4 years older or “almost 6” years older. Also just the sheer premise of the Exodus company and the direction Tobias and Tyler take it by the end of the book was so ridiculous. Would never happen.

Didn’t mean to 💩 all over this book but I was so disappointed because I really enjoyed Exodus, especially Tobias and we didn’t get Tobias in this books.

I enjoyed the dual POV of this book and the growth of Cecilia, but felt this book was too long and could have been cut back significantly. I did enjoy the twist near the end showing how badass Cecilia is.

The Ravenhood series was definitely interesting. I thought the writing style was kind of poor, the books lacked character growth, and the storyline was often confusing.
