if i could give the ravenhood trilogy 1000 stars, i would. i f*cken love this series sososo much. while i went through a roller coaster of emotion & i’m probably going to need at least 10 therapy sessions to do damage control, i’d read this trilogy 10’s over for the first time again. Reservation to get my heart torn out, party of one please 🤪

I liked getting into the backstory of Exodus but everything else just dragged. The little bit of plot wasn't enough to keep me interested.

After the disappointment the last book was, I only gave this one a chance because I really did enjoy the first one. Cecilia is basically Bella Swan if she was angrier and more vindictive; but ultimately she’s still Bella f*ing Swan. Prepare to read New Moon all over again but mostly the part after she goes to Italy. This book was only slightly better than Exodus and for some reason the author tells you the end of the story from the beginning. I will never deign to reread this.

I thought I was okay with the ending of book two but this final chapter of Tobias’ and Cecilia’s story is the perfect wrap up of the series. Cecilia’s character arc from beginning to end of the series is one of my favorites — a true coming of age story. The ways that Stewart honored Dom in this book were also some of the best parts of this book. Add in romance, spice, and some moments to put you on the edge of your seat and you have a winning book.

Where do I start with this?! I enjoyed the story and appreciate the concept. There were some scenes and characters I loved. For example the Date night scene that the MMC tried to give the FMC. Also the FMC mother and the MMC bonding and forgiveness chapters but trust me there are more. Unfortunately this fell a little flat for me. I don’t think personally I can get over what the MMC did to her branding and also the manipulation. In my head I believe the FMC’s end game was with a character in Exodus. So for me as the book was based around the MMC healing and moving forward I just wasn’t connecting with the MMC and couldn’t really care for him.

I’m devastated I couldn’t relate to this series like everyone else did but to me the Ravenhood Trilogy is overhyped. But shout out the audiobook narrators as it was a fantastic listen.
