After the disappointment the last book was, I only gave this one a chance because I really did enjoy the first one. Cecilia is basically Bella Swan if she was angrier and more vindictive; but ultimately she’s still Bella f*ing Swan. Prepare to read New Moon all over again but mostly the part after she goes to Italy. This book was only slightly better than Exodus and for some reason the author tells you the end of the story from the beginning. I will never deign to reread this.

I thought I was okay with the ending of book two but this final chapter of Tobias’ and Cecilia’s story is the perfect wrap up of the series. Cecilia’s character arc from beginning to end of the series is one of my favorites — a true coming of age story. The ways that Stewart honored Dom in this book were also some of the best parts of this book. Add in romance, spice, and some moments to put you on the edge of your seat and you have a winning book.

CECELIA YOU BAD BITCHHHHH! You outsmarted and beat the master at his own game! This whole series was incredible and I was not expecting that ending. I think this was my favorite of the series, dual POV with Tobias and Cecelia, that’s how it should have been for all of the books in my opinion. I am confused on why the epilogue with Sean was the same in both exodus and the finish line though? I loved these books so much I had to buy the physical copies of them. 💕

I enjoyed the dual POV of this book and the growth of Cecilia, but felt this book was too long and could have been cut back significantly. I did enjoy the twist near the end showing how badass Cecilia is.

Although I might not have pictured the ending at all, I’m not mad. I will say this book out of the 3 was the slowest to read, and man does Cecelia complain/fight a lot. Less spicy than the first two. I like the story line and seeing Tobias practically beg daily.

Not really a spoiler but my favorite “aw” scene ever was the Halloween chapter.

The way it ended had my heart stomped on again, but in a good way?!

I wish there was another book to fill in more gaps, or even POV’s from Sean and Dom for the first two books, that would be incredible although I know it’s her last addition to this series. Seeing Tobias’ POV was my favorite part of this book. Maybe that’s because Cecelia has a long inner monologue and maybe it’s because Tobias had more depth than he let on, but one thing for sure is the *spicy scenes* from the perspective of Tobias were incredible.

I MISS DOMMMMMM!!! and … “pup” got me good.
