Such an addictive read, Lars Kepler never misses. Feel like the chapters were shorter than their previous books so made it even breezier to get through. Just loved it so much, who’d have thought I’d be a thriller gal and sometimes my tummy actually flipped with nerves. Just incredible writing and it has you thinking about the book all the time - went shopping and saw a cleaver and was thinking how it tied in to the story of this book. Would probably need to read the other books to read this one - some of the series can be a stand alone but I think this book is best with the background info. Just love this author so much - idk if any other thriller writer will live up to them so might only read them in this genre, it honestly feels like a film.

2.5 rounded up because the characters annoyed me for a large amount of the book. The ending excuses them but doesn't change the fact. Also, I hope the author stops rehashing admitedly one of the best villains I've read about recently because the thret isn't the same anymore. I personally would love to see what else he can think of. From what we've seen so far, he can think of a lot!
