Listened to audiobook. The writing was not it for me. I have loved klunes other books I’ve read. I found myself wondering why he said she said I said was used over and over again. It was very choppy writing and I couldn’t get into the story.

Oh my god, that book was amazing. I don't think I'll ever get over how good it was. 

You have shifters, you have romance, action, found family, angst, ... All of this in a unique kind of story. The writing was like anything I've ever read before, this book almost read like a tale, but not? Rythmic, sometimes fast pace, like you get only flashes of moments in the character's life, but in a way that was impactful and where you get all the feelings. I cried, I swoon, I was moved. I couldn't have been more invested in these characters. Have I talked about the found family aspect? So heartwarming and beautiful, combined with amazing humor. 
 I loved every second of it. Open this book expecting a writing like you've never seen, and buckle up for the ride. 

Mind blowing. It deserves more than 5 stars. 

Special note for the main character, the sweet giant: I loved him so much, he was perfect. 

*The story is told in 1st person and it's single POV.
