I enjoyed reading the characters, but the end of the book felt rushed.
I loved the details Reid included that felt so true, one that stuck out was the student who didn't want to wear the same outfit to class in case a new friend noticed. There were so many lovely details included.

Her dialogue is always so impeccably real.
I was sceptical heading into Come and Get It. I wasn’t sure if it would be for me. However, I was hooked from the start. Something about the characters drew me in instantly. There wasn’t much of a plot until half way through but I didn’t feel bored or disinterested. I was too captivated by the personalities and backgrounds of these main characters. Kennedy I thought was a super interesting character, and she had a perspective I haven’t seen a lot of in books. Millie and Agatha were also super strong personalities that held through the book. Very impressed.
