Here's the thing- I walked into this knowing that Kiley Reid's niche is writing realistic portraits of the worst people you've ever met. So I expected to feel uncomfortable and weird and I liked it.

God I love Kiley Reid and the way she writes her characters and elucidates such nuanced, specific experiences. Probably would have rated this book higher if it was by someone else tbh because nothing can compare to Such a Fun Age

This book was very interesting. What started very oddly formed into a story that was clearly building. There were twists and turns I did not see coming and it was building well. The chaos point or climax of the story was also very good but after that it just felt like the book got to the end with a flat tire. There was resolution but it was uninspiring resolution.
