Meh. Too teenager-y. Too much language. Sad situation, that should have felt sadder. I am too young to appreciate all the 80s references. It dragged and was kind of long and boring for most of the second half. But, I did finish it so it must have been ok. I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone.

I wanted to like this more but I wasn’t in the right headspace for how heavy it actually is. Still Rainbow is one of my favorite authors.

it was meh pero me aburría en muchas partes

I cried so many times throughout this book. It was a beautiful story of young love. I really connected to the characters, as they remind me of myself and my boyfriend. amazing! I just wish i knew what the last 3 words were!!!!!!

I remember loving this book as a teen and now reread it as an English teacher. I really do love their love. The short, teenage emotions are very well done. It is a heavier book and YA for mature teens!

This book was so… so weird? And not very YA? I don’t know how to explain what I’m feeling right now

I have never been tortured as much as reading this book in my life. Everyone gets punished in their lives and I believe reading this book is one of those punishments.

The book doesn't really have that many pages. I mean +300 pages isn't that much. You could read it quickly and not much would happen. BUT A LOT HAPPENED! No not the story. It was boring from the start, but by "a lot" I mean racism.

I do not recommend reading this book but if you are very curious then please be warned that there are a lot of racist statements in this book, especially about Asians and black people.

Let's start with our characters. Eleanor has daddy issues (actually stepdad issues). She is described as being overweight with red curly hair and freckles. She dresses up "weirdly" and thinks negatively about almost everything. She is often bullied at school.

Park is half-Korean and is a very quiet boy. He is always there for Eleanor and loves her very much.

When you read the blurb you think this is a very cute teenage romance but when you read the book you realize that the book has so many racist statements that you can't even focus on the romance. (So I couldn't concentrate. The racism was too much for me.) But don't worry the romance was also a
