No lie this book had me wanting a certain mystery of a man to show up on my doorstep. Loved that it wasn’t super long of a book, it gave me enough story with plenty of romance. I loved the tropes in the book!

YUP! Perfectly named book. Zuko is a seemingly unfeeling dark, borderline sociopath with a penchant for murder. And he is good at it. He has been talking to Sage who has the voice that drives in crazy every night and day. He really needs to find her, that is after all what a hunter does. But when he stumbles upon a woman with lilac hair and a body blessed by the gods, he can’t help but make her his! Complicated by the fact that he has a kink about her breathing and she is scared to let someone in.
I love the way these two get together and she fights him tooth and nail. And he proves himself to be the only option for her. I really loved the no 80% breakup and the fact that she is just as if not more crazy than him! Their crazies definitely compliment each other. He crosses lines and at times is morally black but he also treats her like a queen.
I am a bit confused about the relationship with Pops because it does seem truly not full of any trust and rather volatile, I’m gonna expect him to cross one of the three hunters and die, or be tortured…wow my brain is dark!
