A cute and sweet graphic novel! I would have loved to see more of the development of friendship between Marjorie and Wendell however. I am looking forward to starting the sequel.

need a longer version, and some of the characters are too flat

3.7 / 5 stars!
The illustrations were beautiful! I loved how the colors changed, like how the tone was warm when the main character remembers her mom, and when it was Wendell's pov there was a cooler tone, I loved the style!
And the story, well, it was so so.
A bit boring at first but the ending is fine I guess.
Al principio estaba super aburrido, al final mejoró un poco.

I really wanted to like this, but it's less a tale of girl-ghost friendship, and more a story about a ridiculous '80s movie villain. You know, the one who's not even the main villain -- the background baddie who's wants to DEVELOP THE TOWN and DESTROY FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESSES.

I did not sign up to read that guy's story and it was boring.

A really enjoyable read about being lost in life and finding courage and help from others that can create a found family. It is really wholesome and a lovely, encouraging and uplifting read towards the end. The beginning is quite heavy but it does get lighter and I really enjoyed how the two storylines came together in the end.
