I really didn’t think I would get into this book. Reading the first 2 chapters was boring and had a lot of Swedish references and I didn’t know what was going on.  But after the Harriet backstory part started I really got into the mystery and read 3/4 of the book in one day.  My only complaint is that the main character, Mikael barely has a flaw and every woman he meets is infatuated with him.

It is a really interesting read. The first couple chapters are kind of boring and very business/politics information-centered (if that makes sense), but it gets really interesting after that. I was on the edge of my seat (read: bed). Fair warning: this book is not for the faint of heart. The mystery parts of it are really interesting, but some parts are really twisted.
