Even though I was able to figure out where it was going and the mystery wasn't as mysterious for me, it was still a fun and enjoyable read.

Since so many of my friends loved this series I decided it was time to rad it and I was not disappointed. There is so much great character depth it would be difficult to not get hooked on the story. I am looking forward to reading the second in the series.

This book doesn't really get going until half way through but from there it captures your attention.

Pretty interesting crime novel from a Swedish writer. Stieg Larsson's style is very much unlike Henning Mankell in the characters he has created. This is a much less sombre view of Sweden, rather a view that looks at Sweden as a modern, industrialized country with its share of violent crimes and its history of Nazism.

Really slow in the beginning, but don't let that fool. Great book. Once it has your attention, it doesn't let go!

I realize I’m way behind on loving this book....but it’s been a *long* time since I’ve wanted to stay up late to finish a book!

Coldest book, overflowing with love. Bitterness and cruelty. It’s a simple story told with stunning precision. So easy to read for how unpleasant it gets.
