Love was love; there was no spell to cure a broken heart that did not also destroy that heart’s capacity for love forever.

I am literally in love with this story and it was a huge-ass step up from the previous ones. Also, possibly a new villainess seems promising

So, I decided to reread/listen to this story and one other one from Tales of the Shadowhunter Academy which was "Nothing But Shadows" which was how James Herondale and Matthew Fairchild became Parabatai only or refreshers before I continued onto chapter 2 of [b:Chain of Gold|17699853|Chain of Gold (The Last Hours, #1)|Cassandra Clare|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1571379245l/17699853._SY75_.jpg|19212510] because I remembered how these two short stories it seemed will most likely merge into the THE LAST HOURS trilogy and so yeah. Now I can continue on Chain of Gold now that I remember these two stories! And OH my gosh I'm even more excited to continue Chain of Gold :D :D :D

I wish there was more but I have a feeling this will link to the up coming series. James Herondale

So good! When Will and Tessa came in:

Then Brother Zachariah came:

Was not expecting it at all!

"My father was cursed," James said from the darkness. "Whereas I? I'm damned."
