This was cute! This is my first book by this author as I wanted to read comeback, but found out it was book three; so I decided to read from the beginning.
I enjoyed the story and all the sports scenes we got. I really liked Avery as a Mc and I really enjoyed her growth. Knox…not so much. I really liked him as a brother and friend, but as a boyfriend? Not really sure about that. Overall it was still a fun romcom, so I’ll definitely check out the rest!

There were interactions that touched my heart but I struggled with keeping track of terminology and didn't like some parts. Like some spicy scenes just felt like a clinical report and I really didn't appreciate that bar scene where he has some girl in his lap and than claims he wanted no one that night but our fmc. Like waaaaaat
lost interest, might come back to it another time.
-Banter - loved every minute of it. Hate each other but they grow on each other!
-Family man - Knox being a family man is swoony
-The flirting is top tier… the hushed sayings, the blatant out loud quips, perfection.
- His belief in her being as amazing as she is.. super resounding and refreshing to have a man believe so highly in you.
-The nickname - Princess? Yesssss
-Motorcycles! Need I say more?
-Possessive and protective for the win
-The consent! Oh, how the permission is found before moving on. Making her comfortable from point A to point B!
-Denial of feelings is sooo perfect for this story - she’s changing him from the start. He will never do relationships but hahaha says Avery!
Loved it all. Only gripe about the whole story was the speed in which it moved… slow burn to start and then a Mario Cart race once it ended! But alas - a book can only be so many pages! Thanks so much for the ARC opportunity, ValentinePR and Rebecca Jenshak!

Loved their story, I just felt as if scenes of them actually together in love were missing. We saw them hate each other, tolerate each other, like each other, but love each other; we barely got to see that. It wasn't a huge deal breaker, in my opinion, but it would have been nice to see more of that. Other than that, seeing Avery interact with Knox's family was amazing, love a good found family moment.

I liked this way more than I thought I would. Despite the young ages, the characters handled things well and didn’t make me want to bang my head against a wall. The writing was good and the character development was really good.
