A fun exploration of Chast's dreams and a brief overview of some larger theories on dreams as a whole.
A breezy read, good for picking up and putting down, with some of the (as Alison Bechdel describes it) "Chastiest" cartoons and ideas.
Neither too deep nor too profound, it was a fun and enjoyable bit of reading.

Love Roz Chast. I laughed out loud at a few of her dreams.

I like Chast's illustrations and her take on the world. The information about dreams was interesting and there were some funny parts but you were still mostly reading about people's dreams which is.....like listening to a kid tell a meandering story :D

I have liked other Rob Chast books but this one didn't speak to me in the same way. While there were some relatable dreams/themes in there, this one just didn't carry the punch for me that Can we Talk About Something More Pleasant? did. Clever, but ultimately not my favorite.

I have always loved Roz Chast; she is one of the marvelous (ok, the BEST of the) illustrators at the New Yorker. I have torn through many a NYer issue, just to find her comic panels and then set the magazine aside. Her dreams are funny & weird (what else would you expect?); some are mildly creepy, but all are amusing. I read this book quickly; it's good for a laugh on a rainy night.
