[4.5/5 Stars] I'm so in love with series, you have no idea. The entire concept of faith and religion in this series is so simple, yet powerful and beautiful. I find Elisa to be an amazing female character, and I relate so much to her, she does things in the series that I find a normal 17 year old would do, but she's also an intelligent ruler. I love her, basically.
The plot is always moving, something is happening constantly, which makes it such an enjoyable quick read. Also, the romance kills me. I'm dead. I can't breath. Help.
Finally, Storm is such a cinnamon roll, I love him.
Love at first read! So worth the exhaustion to finish at 1:30 am. What a horrible twist though. Can't wait to get book 3 from the library!
Series gets even better. More world building, interesting coming together of the Invierne and Joya d'Arena. With King Alejandro gone Elisa is tasked with finding another marriage. She should choose someone based on what is best for her country, but she was forced into a marriage without love the first time around. Shouldn't she get someone she cares for and cares for her as well? Unrest has taken to the kingdom since the animagi attacks along with assassination attempts on her life. She leaves the capital in the hopes of finding the home of the zafira so she can have more power in her Godstone. Will she be able to find it to save her country?

So good! You can absolutely see the character growth for Elisa, and the plot line is really developed in this sequel.
Elisa's character is growing as she faces more hurdles and choices. I loved her for not bitching about her life, instead moving on and looking ahead! She is a character you will love rooting for.
More action at all ends and more of Hector & Storm too.
