I was muddling along through the first part of the book and then it became interesting because it switched to a Single White Female situation. I think the book would have been even more enjoyable if Louise Jensen had just played out that storyline. What was not enjoyable was how dumb Grace was about the whole thing. Seriously. Not naive, not just getting the wool pulled over her eyes, but straight up dumb. Grace is so paranoid about so many things throughout the book, and yet she isn't the slightest bit suspicious of things that are so freaking obvious. It was frustrating. As the book progresses, the plot changes from Single White Female to another popular movie . Clever, but maybe too much. That's not all though, the plot changes again to yet another popular movie (book) , which is even brought up by the main character in the book.
The author tried to do too much in one book and I don't think it worked well. Also, all of the characters were underdeveloped.

this was just ok tbh, kinda saw the "twist" coming from far far away.
This is my third book by this author, I can't believe this was her debut novel. An absolutely riveting story that had me hooked from the start to the end. What had been a slow and steady read at the start became an unputdownable read to the finish. This is an intensely gratifying book, which kept me reading for hours, desperate to uncover the truth.
Really enjoyed this, some twists I predicted others were a surprise. Can see why this debut was a hit.
This book was so good! It was definitely a page turner from start to finish. There were a lot of plot twists which make a good thriller. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to read good thriller.
This was okay. The idea has been done before, and the author didn't do a great job on what were supposed to be the most suspensful parts.
