This whole story felt like magical realism. It was beautiful but I don't think I understood it at all. Can someone please explain to me what happens in the end, what it all means?

Pretty fantastic- an amazing atmospheric tale that never quite tells you its secrets. Beautiful turns of phrase make this a perfect little sweet of a spooky tale.

A nicely chilling and mysterious story from the Book Smugglers publishing.

Don't expect a lot of answers from this story -- but that lack is done perfectly. This is one of those tales where the shape of what you don't know intrigues and excites the imagination. It invites you to add your own horror to the tension on the page, creating a purely satisfying spine tingle. It leaves me wanting more, but also feeling like I was given everything I needed.

Another short story from Book Smugglers Publishing. Very well-written and atmospheric but I want to know more! I guess that's a good thing right? Felt a little too short for my satisfaction.

Terrifying. So many great lines that I want to quote, but then that would be half the story. Really luscious tale, full of the impression of horror. It's a story about negative spaces.

"She did navigate a world of touch or sight; but rather things intuited, understood within the flesh."
