At first I thought this book had a solid premise with a slightly lackluster execution. As much as I tried I just could not be bothered to give a shit about any of the characters. Then the “twist” was revealed and I strongly considered not finishing it.

Any time subject matter as serious as sexual assault is presented in a piece of fictional media for shock value I lose all respect, sorry. Especially since the author spent the majority of the book setting us up to sympathize with a rapist and making his victim out to be the villain.

Absolutely hated this book, disliked the writing and I felt zero empathy for any of the characters.

I didn't like this very much if I'm being honest. The twist wasn't much of a twist for me. I can't say much without spoilers. It took a very long time to get to the point. The big ending seemed lack luster, and not much of a thriller when it all comes together.
