Bloody marvellous. The characters are devilish and I love them for it. They don't hide their sins from the reader (even if they try to cover them up), and that made me root for them all the more.

I loved identical twins being at the centre of this, and adding to the mystery.

There are twists that actually made me gasp out loud. I don't recommend reading this on your lunch break because you will be thinking about it all afternoon and be completely distracted. Don't you hate how life gets in the way of you finishing a good book? Yes, I even took it to the cinema and read until the lights went down - I've never wanted more trailers before...

Just be warned it does reference COVID, so if you aren't ready for that maybe leave this one for a bit. When you do pick it up you won't be disappointed - terrific book.

What a ride this debut thriller is!

Leah and Megan are identical twins. So identical that noone can tell them apart. But unlike many twins, they are not close. In fact, they haven't spoken for years.

Leah lives a life of fame, fortune and freedom. Megan is married to the seemingly perfect husband, Chris.

But behind closed doors, Megan's life is falling apart and evidence that Leah and Chris are having an affair.

When Megan decides to confront Leah, the confrontation turns murderous. What is Megan to do but become Leah and try to get away with murder.

I have to admit, I started off this book and wasn't sure if I would enjoy it.  Firstly, absolutely none of the characters are likeable - at all - and usually that is a turn off for me. But I persisted and I am so glad I did.

I haven't read a thriller quite like this before and it blew me away.  It is broken up into multiple parts, with each part told from a different character's perspective and the twist at the end of Part 1 was 🤯🤯🤯

If you love thrillers full of plot twists, then this is the book for you.  I can totally see this being turned into a Netflix movie.

Just a note for author Sarah Bonner, I will be sending you my therapy bills for the foreseeable future. 😂😂😂
