Really wasn't anything to scream about. I think it also depends on whether you are someone that has seen the Netflix TV show or not. I went into it thinking that this book would be an extension/continuance of the the TV series-- kind of in the same was that the comics for ATLA are. But, I was disappointed in that it's really more a 'deleted episode'. It was still cute, and I love the characters regardless but it didn't add anything to the already existing story-- which was my goal in reading it. I probably won't read the other issues.

Just a bit of lovely She-Ra fun. Felt like reading an episode rather than watching it. Would be interested to see where future volumes go!

Nice! I didn’t expect too much from this, since I mostly read to sate myself back when I was waiting for Season 5. But it feels a lot like a She-Ra Season 1-2 episode.

Also, I very much appreciate how
SpoilerAdora literally awakened an ancient, dormant, destructive power all because she was jealous of Catra and Scorpia. We stan a gay disaster.
