Loved the book. It is a useful book for an educator. Trying to put the tips in day to day life. I enjoyed reading the book.
Excelenta din toate punctele de vedere. Una dintre acele carti care iti schimba viata.
One very simple concept, but an entire book because it crops up in so many subtle ways in all areas of life. Just think what the world could be like if more of us developed a growth mindset in our lives. An important read for anyone who teaches, counsels or works with kids.
I am glad I listened to this book as a summary from Blinkist. The message is simple, innate talent will not get you as far as, and is not required over deliberate practice to improve. I like Cal Newport's 'So good they can't ignore you' better.

I liked the simple and definitive steps added to make the mindset achievable. I disliked how many stories were included especially early on. It made the book a bit hard to get into. Wish there was another way to bring us into the mindsets earlier on. I also liked the parts of life that the mindsets were applied to.
I recommend this book to everyone but especially parents, teachers, and adolescents.
I rated it a 4 because it was a slow start but very good information. Will be referring back.

Great concept, but you don't need to read the whole book to get the gist.
I like the ideas presented in this book, but there are a whole lot of chapters in the middle providing examples that I think could have been condensed. I read the first few chapters and the last and that was plenty for me!
Some sections were great, but it was fairly repetitive.
