Een trilogie waarvan het eerste en derde deel ijzersterk zijn en het midden goed maar niet zo denderend als de rest. De vele pagina's maken het wat overweldigend maar dit is prima te lezen en te begrijpen!

Not as good as the first book. The plot was more boring and harder to follow and i didn’t like any of the characters. However, I liked that i got to see a different angle of life in the society and after the events of the ending of the first book

The MaddAddam trilogy is great. While the three books differ slightly in style/ease of reading/worldbuilding, they complement each other well. The first one is an origin story, the second book is a different point of view, and the third story deals with the aftermath of the events set in motion in the first book.
The books are set in a dystopian future where the things we fear in current day have come true; real meat and animals in general have become scarce, bodies have become a commodity, and corporations are in charge. Religion and science are also recurring themes. They're represented by two groups of characters who deal differently with the unjust world they live in. It's quite an interesting read, and I would recommend this trilogy to anyone interested in this genre.
