Dustin Thao is responsible for my therapy bills now because this is now 2/2 of his books that have broken my heart and now we’re waiting for the third one. Such an amazing story about loss and second chances. I wish that more people in Eric’s life besides Kevin had checked in on him because wow -

losing your best friend and then your sister would be so devastating especially if you didn’t have much support.

I also wish that Daniel hadn’t kissed Eric on the roof and then acted like it didn’t mean much to him when he found someone new because it made me feel not as sad about Eric not having him around anymore. The plot twist, however, was absolutely devastating. I’m ready to have my heart broken a third time with the new release coming soon!
