Action, suspense, romance, and special abilities... all are working for me in this novel.

Well, I accidentally skipped the 2nd book, but boy am I glad I did, because I got to the yumminess that is Wyatt quicker than I would have! Loved him and Faith and Annika and Creed, both relationship are a fabulous roller coaster, heartbreaking and heartwarming with ups and downs, pushes and pulls, and holy hot damn lots of sexy time *whew* Now onto the 2nd book, oops!
I didn't like this ACRO nearly as much as I liked the previous ones, which is probably why it took me so long to finish. I'm not really sure why. The only thing I can really pinpoint is that I wasn't really a big fan of Faith - at all. I thought she was a bit bossy, uncaring, and I was really annoyed that she was so quick to betray Wyatt when he was so sweet to her.
I loved Wyatt in this one, though. He was sexy, sweet and hot as all hell. But, I thought he deserved better than what Faith was giving him emotionally throughout most of the book. At the end (of course) she was good to him, but it seemed too little too late to me. I did really like Wyatt though, I just wish he could have had a different heroine. :)
I'm so sad about Dev/Oz! Not to spoil anything, but I'm really sad about what happened there and I didn't think it was really necessary to the story line. But I guess we'll see what happens.
I did, however, really enjoy the HEA between Annika and Creed (and Kat, of course). That was really sweet and I'm so happy that they finally got that. I would have liked to see a whole book about them because Creed is fantastically sexy, but oh well. At least they got their HEA - good enough for me.
I'll keep reading, but the whole series is wearing on me now. At first, the novelty of the sexual things being tied into their powers was intriguing. Now it's just getting unrealistic that every single person with a special power has something to do with sex within their powers too. It's just getting blah. I hear the next three are a bit of a different story, not having to do with the weather machine anymore, so it'll be interesting to see where they go though.

DNF (60%). I tried. I really did. However, this just wasn't the book for me. The writing was fine, and the story was a bit fast paced and jumpy. I felt like this might have been book 17 in a series instead of 3 (maybe this is a spin off?), but the characters and story just didn't grab and hold me.
4.5
Oz is such an arrogant know-it-all. I love him.

Synopsis:
Covert operatives, Wyatt Kennedy and Faith Black meet in a bar and share one night of unbridled passion only to discover later that they are on opposing sides of the same mission to locate ITOR’s deadly weather machine. Faith and Wyatt must ultimately work together to thwart ITOR’s nefarious plans but can they also find love and trust on a personal level?
Review:
The best installment in the series so far. Once again, the Sydney Croft duo has written an engaging story with interesting backgrounds for their characters (which is lacking in the second book). The plot is fast-paced, action packed and more engaging than the first two books. Wyatt and Faith’s romance is intense, passionate and believable despite the underlying supernatural circumstances. The agents with opposing agendas and love/betrayal aspects of their relationship were particularly enjoyable.
The conclusion to Annika and Creed’s story was wonderful and it was great to see them finally coming to terms with themselves and their relationship. There were some interesting plot twists with regard to Dev, Oz and Creed that contributed to their character development. I also liked the subtle hints in the last chapter to stories yet to come.
Even though it is not 100% necessary, I do recommend reading the first two books in the series to get a complete grasp of the espionage plot in this one.

I tried a new author. Too much sex for me. I really liked the story line, but I started skipping through the sex scenes because they were too often for my taste.
This book was good. Wyatt Kennedy, an ex-navy seal, but now ARCO agent, was sent to destroy a machine that affect the weather by producing disasters like tornadoes etc. His super power is “Telekenesis and Pheromone release”, which is pretty hot! A side effect of Wyatt’s love mojo is that his sexual partners don’t remember him after their encounter. So basically, it leaves him unmemorable:D
On this current mission, he meets and beds an undercover agent Faith Black and the next morning she remembers their tryst. Wyatt knows then that he can’t let her get away. Bu they are vying for the same equipment, so can they work if they are on opposite sites?
Also in this book, we finally have a real breakthrough with Annika & Creed’s relationship. Some real discussion and sharing, and we find out more about their pasts. These two are now officially a couple, but the road isn’t smooth as Creed’s ghost Kat is not the sharing type.
Oz and Dev’s strange relationship continued in this one. I want to like them, but so much of their relationship is steeped in mystery and secrets. They both are trying to protect the other by doing stuff being the other’s back. I did feel really bad about what happened to them though.
The writing was still good, a lot of sex but a lot of plot development too, so I was pleased. I look forward to continuing with this series.
