A fun, quick summery horror! I really enjoyed the main characters and watching their friendship develop. There was a lot of humor, a bit of mystery and definitely some creepy bits. I feel like though the point of this book was to set up the plot of book 2 which I think will be way more spooky and interesting.

What a fun audiobook!

It did read a little mature at times for this being a middle grade book, but the constant one-two punch jokes really brought me back to the humor that comes with childhood 😂 sooo cheesy, but fun overall!
