I think this book is a must read. It opens up the other possibilities of being a bookworm. I have known of book collection but this just makes reading books so much more enjoyable . It shows the discovery that they can bring you too. How spending can go out the window! On just a single iteam. What do we use to justify it?

I enjoyed aspects of this book -- the history into bibliomania, for instance and insights into what it takes/means to be a poet. But I also found it pretty pompous and some of the writing actually made me cringe. It was so forced at times, and really, really forced.

I loved this book. It took me on a fascinating and intriguing journey into the lives of poets, bibliophiles and bibliomania. I am not a poet but discovered I might actually be a bibliophile! The protagonist's honesty and vulnerabilities drew me in and I felt I would love to meet him.
