Well written and very interesting. I never knew that peck struggled with drugs and was very interested to hear about his struggles with weight and self esteem after watching him as a kid

Josh Peck, most famous for the TV show Drake and Josh features his memoir highlighting the opposite of his successes. This was a frank memoir about Josh’s struggles with an acting career, alcohol addiction, body image issues and family problems.
I found it rather sad how hard Josh was on himself. This book was also refreshing from any celebrity memoir to not hear a person brag on all their achievements.
If you want a memoir featuring someone’s real struggles and the icing on the cake is that life does not always go as we hope, this one is for you.

I was mostly interested in his weight journey and being a child star, and those parts were very interesting, but they only made up a very, very small part of the beginning of the book. I’m sure his addiction story will be really impactful to other people, but at this point I’m going to move on from this one. Might revisit
