Ares and Raven are a true endgame

*Reread review*

Although I love this book. I still feel like Raven deserves more
dark emotional hopeful sad tense slow-paced

Sister’s fiance. Arranged marriage.

Sigh. I wanted to like this but I really didn’t. There was a lot of telling but not enough showing. I didn’t feel the love Ares had for her. I wish he was more resistant to the marriage arrangement at the start. There was no push and pull. He should’ve been more cold and distant at the start esp considering he was in love with the sister, not her.
I didn’t like the characters and the
pregnancy
drama was unnecessary.
It didn’t even feel like they were friends.

Reread but this time I did the Audiobook, WOW... I love Catharine's books and when you put the arranged marriage trope in with forced proximity it's a recipe for me to love and enjoy.

I loved Ares and Ravens chemistry. This books plot is the romance, spice and chemistry between the two MCs and I enjoyed this book. Then you added the narration by Sebastian York and Lucy Rivers and they were able to0 bring the chemistry off paper and into the audio. I literally ate this up and wanted more. Still such a good book and know that this book will continue to be a reread when I need a good reset book.
