I enjoyed this book I've been excited to read it for awhile it was a cute read i think the ending could've been better still enjoyable though this book is about the main character's Julian and Hallie i loved the fact that we got to meet August and Natalie in this book I can't wait to read there story in Unfortunately yours and there is secret love letters that Hallie writes Julian confessing to him her feelings that she's had for awhile some of the tropes in this book are Opposites attract, Small town romance, Grumpy x Sunshine and Second chance romance this book has a happy ending with no cliffhangers no love triangle and no cheating and also Hallie has her friend Owen who she likes only as a friend but Owen likes her more then a friend so there is jealousy between Julian and the side character Owen but nothing crazy it still had me giggling every time Julian got jealous i loved it this book is spicy not extremely spicy but
nonetheless spicy im not very good at reviews so I'll leave it at that👆🏽and overall i rated this book 4 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A romance book that felt very haphazardly put together. As if all of the pieces were plugged in that should together make a whole book, but nobody stood back at the end and said, ‘hmm maybe these pieces come from different puzzles.’
At the end of the day, Bailey writes excellent spice and fun characters, but I was very frustrated but the mental health representation (or lack thereof) in this book. Just read it so I can read book 2 which is supposed to be fantastic.

Based on some low star reviews, I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. It’s akin to Bailey’s other book Killer Vacation with opposites attract, but more of a small town vibe. It was an easy read - the premise of the letters wasn’t particularly engaging or as much of a plot device as it perhaps could have been. But I liked the characters (including side characters) and was invested in seeing how things went for them. Overall a good weekend rom com read with that trademark Tessa Bailey spice.

Tessa Bailey romances never rock my socks off but this one felt particularly lackluster. The characters were so flat and clichéd.

this is the perfect grumpy x sunshine read. im going to be honest this is the book that put me in my 2 month reading slump because it starts off pretty boring thats why i rated it a 3. but, i eventually picked it back up and finished it less than 2 days. a lot of reviews say that this wasnt that good of a book, but in my opinion besides the first few chapters, it is very interesting and the characters are so lovable and the character development is absolutely insane and it shows some insight on anxiety and panic attacks which i think is described very well. some parts of this book are so cute the interactions are adorable they had me kicking my feet and shi😭
