I chose Tyler as my favorite guy in Flock, and I just knew this book was going to gut me. I went into this book also disliking Delphine a 10 out of 10. I was adamant that I did not want to see their love or anything related to her.
I will say this book changed everything for me. Tyler is utterly perfect, so wonderful in this book was just beautiful. To witness their love, their growth as humans and their growth as a couple was so amazing. My love for Delphine is a 10 out of 10.
I was so happy we got to see her talk with Dom and to see how everything went down with Zach.
The mental health representation, the trauma, the abuse and all of the healing, and the journeys these characters go on in this book, was utterly devastating but beautiful, and so very well written. And I say this as a therapist who works with trauma and as somebody who has survived cancer.
This is easily a five star, but really infinity stars.

10 stars, 50 stars, a million stars. This book built me up and then absolutely destroyed me brick by brick. Tyler and Delphine will forever be my favorite couple by FAR. I’ll admit when I started this book I was not excited about how long it is but every single letter is worth it. The angst, the trauma, the fear, the devotion, the adoration and love and then the absolute devastation and heartache will live in my brain right next to Kingdom of Ash and the 13. I don’t know if I will ever get over this one and I love it.
