Okay this was fun as hell lmao. I really liked the continuation the story is kind of insta-lovey tho bc ellie falls fast and hard but again a super quick read so i liked it
Long Game picks up right where book 1 left off, after that crazy cliffhanger! There's so many aspects in this story that is just hooking me in. This being the only the second book, I know have to wait for the conclusion, but the anticipation on what might happen is going to make me crazy! I know it'll be a wild and angsty ride. But I’m loving every second of it!
Lisa Suzanne weaves such an enthralling, complicated and twisty tale. I was pulled into the story and have became addicted to the drama and angst! I can't wait to read more and discover where Lisa is going to take me in book three.

Just when I think it couldn't get any better. It does! I'm definitely in love with Luke and Ellie. This picks up right where book one left off. There are just so many twists and turns that kept my attention on their story. Their story just keeps getting bigger which was so unexpected. But I was having fun reading their book so I can't complain how their story kept my attention all day long.
This is just amazing and it's only the start of the series! I'm looking forward to the next one!

Seriously! That did not just happen. I couldn’t wait to see what the next step for Luke and Ellie was going to be…
Luke and Ellie are really going to continue this “fake engagement” but so many little problems pop up and this plan gets fast track. So now it’s time to meet the family and boy do things become eye opening. I didn’t expect that family secret to come.
How - What - Who - I need more!!!
The bond that Luke and Ellie have is growing stronger and I hate to think what is coming next...

The next book in the Vegas Aces had me falling in love with Ellie and Luke even more as I watched them get to know each other!
These two are so much fun and I’m totally falling in love with this series.
I do wish I had Luke’s side of the story, but it won’t stop me from finishing the series to see how it all ends up!
It also ends in cliffhanger - so be sure to read these in order ;-)
Five stars for this fun sports romance story that will have you laughing the moment you finish the first chapter.

Long Game
Idk how many books are in this series but man we really are playin the long game here. Interesting choice for a cliffhanger. But I'm still here for it

This is Book 2 in this particular series. The 5 book series will follow the same couple, Luke and Ellie.
I did enjoy it this book but not as much as book one in the series. I do feel that the first two books could have been one book together. This book is solely focused on the progression of Luke and Ellie's fake engagement. It also lays out a little more background as to the baggage that Luke brings with him. This story does take us on a trip with Luke’s family to Hawaii for their surprise wedding in front of his family. We also get some family secrets as Ellie Meets the entire family.
Ellie really made me angry. In book one I loved her in book two I want to smack her! She is all into Luke, even though they're faking this whole relationship thing, but the second she sees his brother her inner monologue is going a bit crazy with thoughts of how hot he is. Her inner thoughts about Luke’s brother do not match her actions or other thoughts. This felt random. The story has enough push and pull type angst without this. I want to be honest the way this story ends is going to make it hard for me to pick up book 3. If Ellie doesn’t redeem herself, I am not sure if I will finish the series. I am really annoyed by this.

Book 2 of the Vegas Aces series:
After the news of Luke's ex being pregnant Ellie and Luke decide the best way to save face is to get married and pretend they are in love.
The dinner with Luke's family left me with soo many questions!! I'm not sure where this will lead or what will be uncovered in the next book but it's going to get juicy!!! Ellie definitely got herself into something a little bigger than she anticipated!

This book definitely could have been joined with the first, and it did kind of go off the rails a bit, but I was still invested? I'm trying to think of a good comparison for why I felt like I needed to keep reading and I can only come up with that it gave me the same feeling I get while watching reality TV. It's kind of messy, you definitely don't like everyone, but you really need to know what happens. And this isn't a bad thing!
I like Luke, even if he is wishy-washy on what he wants and is being kind of unfair, and I'm definitely concerned about Ellie because she's a tiny bit delusional, but as I said in my review of the first book, Luke is complex and layered, and we start to really see that in this story. I can't wait to see more of Luke's history in the next few books, and I know the cliffhanger probably isn't as bad as it's made out to be (and if it is I'm going to have a major problem with this series in general). Bring on book #3!!
