This one made me mad

Ellie is hired as Luke's PR manager and after an unfortunate run in with his ex gf, the tale is spun that Ellie is Luke's fiance.

Ellie really started making me mad in this one. She's all about Luke (I mean, I don't blame her) but she keeps reading into their relationship even though he doesn't really give he a reason to. He's acting no different and his words should tell her everything, but she starts to get a little delulu in my opinion. She's getting a little creepy and not having Lukes POV might be the reason why I feel this way.

OW drama ensues between his ex gf and his ex wife (you read that correct) along with something he's for sure keeping from her...dun dun duuuuuuuuuuun.

If you plan on reading this, make sure you read the first book of the series (which I did) because this is not a stand-a-lone.

So a part of me believes this and the first book could have been combined BUT I still loved it. Luke's and Ellie's relationship continues changing and I'm loving every bit of it watching these two trying to figure out the world they're living in & making. I can't wait for the next one!

I wish we had Luke’s perspective to see what he is thinking. I feel it would give us more depth of his character except for this mysterious hot guy Ellie is making him out to be. It is annoying that he is keeping Ellie in the dark about things she need to know to prepare herself for his family and just in general.

Lisa Suzanne is a genius when it comes to writing addictive series that will leave you needing and begging for the next book. I thought that in Long Game I would get the answers I had when reading [b:Home Game|56649291|Home Game (Vegas Aces #1)|Lisa Suzanne|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1613741555l/56649291._SY75_.jpg|88521170]. And in a way, I did. Except Lisa Suzanne thickened the plot in ways I couldn't have foreseen. So here I'm ready for the next three books in the Vegas Aces series.

The series has so many layers, twists, and turns that make these books instant page-turner. Ellie has agreed to marry Luke as a PR stunt, and yet she is falling in love by the minute. Luke opens more to her and shares his story yet, things are way more complicated than what Ellie initially thought. They are adorable and perfect for each other, the connection is there and is evident to (almost) everyone. But there is so much angst. And the past? Not what you would expect.

This series is worth binge-reading. Can't wait to find out what happens next!

Let’s meet the family!

Oh my goodness! This one ended on a worse cliffhanger than the last book! I will definitely continue on with that third book next! I am so hooked! These characters are amazing! This story is beyond words! I cannot wait to see what happens next. I have not screamed no don’t do it! At a fictional character in a long time but I definitely did it a couple of time to Ellie. I hope Luke gets his head on straight and I hope a few other characters take a hike! Wish me luck on this journey because I don’t know if I will survive it!

"Long Game" by Lisa Suzanne is a quick and drama-filled read that takes the stakes higher for Ellie and Luke’s relationship. The tension is palpable as Ellie, hired as Luke’s publicist, finds herself navigating a potential fake marriage to clean up his image in the world of pro football. While Luke insists their arrangement is purely business, the chemistry between them tells a different story.

As Ellie works to crack through Luke’s emotional walls, her own feelings start to deepen, making the situation more complicated than either of them anticipated. The twists, drama, and high-pressure situations keep the story moving, and Ellie’s character becomes more endearing as she navigates the growing risks to her heart. It's an engaging and fun read that sets the stage for more to come in the "Vegas Aces" series!

Not a stand alone. I think I’ll wait until the rest of the series is released to read the rest. Very good though.

2.5 / 5

Again, same review from book 1.

This continuation, of Home Game, had my complete attention. I found myself wanting to know what happens next. Can this work between Luke and Ellie? Will a wrench be thrown in? And then there is that cliffhanger. Yes, again.

Is book 3 available yet? I need to know what happens next!

(I received an ARC in exchange for review.)

WHAT? Ms. Suzanne you cannot leave me like that, I am BEGGING for more!
In the second book of the Vegas Aces series, I realized I am falling more in love with Sexy Ellie and Hot Luke. I feel like if I was put in the same situation Ellie’s in, with the same hot man, I’d do exactly what she’s doing! In all honesty it seems she’s really helping a friend and I love that about her. I love that she’s willing to sacrifice a bit of her stability and comfort for this plan with Luke. On the flip side, it’s definitely unhealthy being that they have slept together and she obviously wants to again. And Luke... Luke, Luke, Luke, what are you thinking at the end there sir? You went from being so thoughtful and considerate to being kind of a raging tool. I’m super looking forward to book three, Fair Game, and seeing where their story goes.
I honestly can’t tell which way I see it going, which I LOVE and find super exciting. Overall, I’m loving this series!!
