Some of the characters are still interesting. The author seriously doesn't know how to write brilliant/smart people, which makes me flail at some of the choices characters make as a result from it, but it's still fun and I still want to know where the stories of the twins will go.

I loved learning more about Perenelle in this novel and getting to watch her get out of a sticky situation!

I liked it.

Spoilers:
I was pleased to note that Josh willingly left Clarent. I'm also interested to see what happens with the "two that are one" reference to the swords.

I saw the foreshadowing of the Witch of Endor v. Mars Ultor. I'm interested in how that will play out.

I'm kind of hoping that in the end all the corrupted elders and Archon's will be healed.

This series continues to be entertaining with plenty of action and adventure. I'm intrigued enough to continue with book #4.

I just love this series. Each book leads on a labyrinth of mythology’s, legends and lore from so many different cultures and times. You’d think combining so many different elements would make it hard to follow or far too chaotic but Michael is an absolute master of storytelling. The Sorceress is one of my favourites out of all the series (I even have the swords from the cover of the book forever inked into my skin) because of the emotions it makes me feel and the connections you truly start to form with so many of the characters. If you haven’t read this series you really should treat yourself to it!
