Fast paced and action filled the story brings us into another big European city. New characters and species ensure that it’s not getting boring. But I’m finding myself more and more wondering what Nicholas is really up to. So many secrets...
This one dragged on quite a bit, last plot twist is making me think I should finish the series, but idk if I have enough in me to read another 3 books…..
Also I feel like the twins are always on the verge of expiring from overusing their powers but there’s no real consequences, they just look sickly. Also they never eat? How do they recharge? Also why does Perenelle charge with sunlight and none of the others do?? How does that make sense. There’s just a lot of plotholes, I know some 11 year old out there is banging their head against the wall because I sure am.

I really enjoyed the new characters! The ancient race was fascinating to me. I like where the storyline is going.
Really enjoying this fun fantasy series. Reminds me a little of the Percy Jackson books.
This book is my favorite so far of the series. Loved it! Action packed, magical, deadly and sometimes humorous... a great read! The characters all have something to contribute to the twins journey.
