***WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR FIRST 2 BOOKS IN THE SERIES***
It is no secret that I love Greek mythology and this series is one of my favourites that involves this. Goddess Interrupted ended on such a cliffhanger that I was both REALLY anxious and REALLY scared to finally get to The Goddess Inheritance. Not to mention my fear of reading the last book in a series.
But I shouldn't have worried, because I can totally trust Aimee Carter to bring the awesome and give me some closure! The thing I love about series and that makes me love this one so much is that I could just slip right back into this world and catch up with the characters effortlessly, it's like reconnecting with old friends and I love that!
Kate has grown so much over the course of the series and I love that she's a strong woman who knows what she wants. I thought the whole thing with her getting pregnant at the end of Goddess Interrupted was pretty sudden and SO unexpected, but though Kate hadn't planned have a baby at her age, she definitely wants this baby. The protectiveness and love adds another layer to her relationship with Henry and I just loved it!
And Henry... I'm such a big fan of Henry. He may be infuriatingly stubborn at times, but he's just so swoonworthy and sexy in all his power that I can totally forgive him for this. Though I kinda didn't get how he could be so naive sometimes! Seriously! Kate is missing and people keep this from him with lame excuses? I mean, seriously?? If only he'd been more about taking action and people wouldn't have kept him in the dark, it would have solved SO MANY problems!!
Anyway.
This was one of those books that I just could not put down! It was so actionpacked and the stakes were so high, I was just on the edge of my seat the whole time! It was filled with sweet moments and heartbreaking moments and WHAT? NO!! moments and just all of those good feelings! Though I am fully satisfied with this ending to an amazing series, I cannot help but wish Aimee Carter will write more stories set in this world and maybe centering around Kate and Henry's kid? Because he seems pretty special. Though I'm also fine with just more Kate-books, because she rocks and I don't think she's done having adventures!
My rating: 5 stars

Nuž, celkom obstojný záver trilógie. Aj napriek tomu, že sa Kate zmenila na mučeníka.
First Thoughts: That was definitely more intense than I was expecting! I love how it all ended though.

I've been anticipating this final book in the Goddess Test series for quite some time. In many ways, The Goddess Inheritance is a good, strong finish. My love for Henry and Kate, and my fascination with the entire family, pretty much ensured that I would enjoy discovering their fate as this story came to an end.
All the characters from the previous books - both the beloved, the annoying and the evil - are back. Even though they're all playing a part in this war between Cronus and the gods, I like how the book chooses to focus primarily on Kate and Henry. They're the two characters I'm the most invested in, so it was a match made in heaven to see that, as always, the focus remained on the two of them and the parts that they could play in this upcoming battle.
And boy, there is a ton that they go through in this one! They have to figure out solutions to multiple problems: how to keep their child safe, how to avoid being captured or tricked into taking Cronus' side, how to save the council and how to make sure that the rest of the world stays intact. The stakes are very high in this one, the consequences dire and time short - and it's a wonder that Kate and Henry manage to come up with any plan at all in lieu of all these stressful situations.
Because they're up against so much, there's a lot going on in this story. The twists were surprising to me, mostly because I had no idea what to expect going into the book! It was really fun to read without any expectations or ideas whatsoever, as I just kept turning pages in my eagerness to find out how everything was resolved.
Obviously, while I talk about Kate & Henry, I cannot fail to mention how their love story makes me incredibly happy. They're both still devoted to each other, which I love and they certainly share some very sweet moments that made me excited as someone who roots for them.
I only have a minor complaint about the story's resolution, because it felt a little bit anticlimactic to me. I appreciated the drama, and how the author chose to end things, but I still felt like something was missing. However, this minor disturbance didn't detract too much from my overall enjoyment.
It makes me sad to know that my time with Kate, Henry & the rest of their family is coming to an end for now. The Goddess Inheritance brings the drama, the love and the twists with practiced ease, and it's a solid conclusion to this series.

A bittersweet ending to a wonderful trilogy. Review to come.
Ok, the plot was a little slow. I liked the previous novels better.
I definitely though the second book of the series was the best, this one was predictable and I knew what was going to happen at the start.
Nope... I just... I wanted to like this trilogy! It was on my 2015 TBR and I hoped that even if I didn't LOVE it, I would at least LIKE it. But nope. This trilogy just DID NOT work for me... D:
Ben bile ergrnlik dönemlerimde böyle davranmıyordum be.
Evet Kate'e saydım. Sıra Aimee'de.
Fazla uzun paragraflar ve fazla iç düşünceler var. Yani, nasıl desem? Kimse konuşmuyor. Hep Kate'in bakış açısını gördük.
