I liked the second one in the series ! Loved the faerie tale context (I have serious dress envy) and also the commentary on class, power and anger.
I look forward to the next one.

Another delightful installment of Regency Faerie Tales, in my opinion, better than the first. This one takes a classic Cinderella fantasy - and takes it into rather unexpected direction

Everybody needs a Lord Blackthorn in their lives - a well meaning disaster of a fairy godfather who will be relentlessly existed about everything you do and are 

Also, class consciousness and anger. I really liked how the book handled those, with much more nuance than the first one. The “innocent” cruelty of those in power, the ripple effects of anger pointed in the wrong direction, and how anger is a part of justice. The sheer JOY of the servants finding their righteous, well directed anger at the end
