Atwater’s mischievous wit reminds me of Dianna Wynne Jones

This was a good, fun read with a strong message. I didn’t like the protagonists of this one as much as I liked Dora and Elias, but I did enjoy the nods to the first book in the series.

This was an incredibly sweet and enduring story. I truly loved it.
Effie’s charter is a delight. And Blackwood acts as I would hope a foarh would. The romance was so beautiful and perfect.
Overall I really adored this book.
