Idk the ending was weird, the build up the secret in the beginning of the book and then in the end it wasn't even relevant?? And Brian was talking about seeing his parents again all the time and stuff and then the idk the ending just didn't do him justice for me
Also Brian inviting the pilot that came to save him to come and eat with him at the end isn't realistic like Brian was there for what 50 days or so and then he's like yeah man you can take me home just one sec gotta make my lunch yk

I found this book for really cheap in a thrift store and it was like something in the back of my brain remembered this book. I couldn't remember much about the book the only thing I did remember was how good it was. I bought it on a whim and don't regret it because I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It is a bit dark and challenging for its age group but I think it's important and while the writing may be a bit childish (no kidding hah) I still found it very gripping and enthralling to read!
