There's just something about them two that doesn't sit right with me. I've read a lot of kidnapping and falling in love kind of books and I loved them but this one just isn't my cup of tea, and I loved the first book. Mikolaj and Nessa’s story. Stayed up till 2am cause I couldn’t put this book away. Good spice even though it’s only like twice. Love all of the characters. There was no third-act breakup.
***Liked Book #1 better.
Nessa was too much of a clichè character, very much over-used in this genre. If I hadn't read so many romances, I'd probably like this a lot better.
Mikolaj's past is also an over-used clichè, and I was already able to guess the whole plot ever since his sister was introduced in the very first page. So over all, this was very clichè, lacked all that action and fun from Callum and Aida's book.
Hopefully the next book is enough to keep me interested to continue with this series.
