What firstly attract me from this book is the fact that there are not many books like this and also that it is a very complexe subject with so many questions and it was really AMAZING to see a book like this so simple and so easy to understand.
People tend to ask many questions about how children who have same sex parents do or how they act like a mother or a father. This book explain it all in a very simple and easy way of understanding that, firstly they are both his mommies and they both take care of him the same way that any parents would do.
What I also loved with this book is that it is shown as something normal to have parents of the same sex. Even through questions of people there is no need to lie about it.
I rated it 4 stars for the simple reason that even though I enjoyed reading it there is something missing I wanted maybe more moral from it without having to analysing it.

This illustrated book has veru beautiful and sweet art!
The message go throught the illustrations, more than words and sentence and the message arrive clear and genuine: two mommies are two mommies and they do what mommies do. They help, listening, educating and play. But the kid is also capable to do some things alone, and this is important for how he will grow up.
I really apprecciated this tiny book.
I would have just liked to see an in-depth analysis of an example of the roles of the two mothers in managing the various family tasks.

This is beautiful way to show the normalcy of having two mommies (or two daddies) to children. My children have grown up being taught that anyone can love whomever they want, so while this isn’t groundbreaking to them it could be for kids who haven’t been raised in a home where loving everyone is taught!!

This book is fantastic, highly recommend it to anyone.
This book shows the curiosity of children about same sex parents, also shows how the same sex parents are capable to do anything just like any other family.

Such a cute book! I absolutely loved the illustrations and, most importantly, the representation of same-sex parents- moms in this case. There are kids who have two moms and they would relate nicely to this book and how a mom can take her son fishing instead of having a stereotypical role of a father doing that. I would definitely recommend kids with same-sex parents and even kids that don't so that they can have exposure and understand that there is nothing wrong with having parents of the same sex.
