I never thought I'd finish this book by the end of the year.. Edmond Dantes' revenge plot is one of the greatest arcs in literature. He quite literally is an avenger sent by God and I can see why he believes(d) that way too. This book is not too difficult to read and is fun as a kind of adventure/mystery book too. Its just that the middle portion is quite slow compared to the opening and closing Acts.
