I loved the Movies, yes, all three of them, lol. I always thought the movies were so whimsical, and I decided I wanted a quick read, and what better to read but something nostalgic! I never read Charlie and the chocolate factory, but I thought it was great. it was very well written, I loved remembering the movie and seeing how they were similar to Dahl's book. It's definitely a fun read!

An adorable book that I never got to read as a child. It's so well written and imaginative, I will probably read the second book. This would be a GREAT read for a parent to read with a child.

I will say, as movies go, this is SO MUCH like Tim Burton's version, I kept seeing clips in my head of the new version. So good!
