Reading this as an adult was really interesting. I've always loved the story and the imagination is lovely. But it was really strange to read it through the lens of someone whos read about child development and it seems like he didnt (or Wonka anyway) like kids. Or fat people. So that was sad and disappointing. For that it lost a star and its a 4/5.
